Most recently featured in Season 1 of Fox’s 24: Legacy, Garett has performed character roles for both television and film on location in Atlanta, New York City, Miami, and Knoxville. He started his career on stage and performed in many Off-Broadway productions in New York City in the early 2000s. He transitioned into a film career in 2005, which began on the set of 50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Garett Knights was born in Manhattan and raised in Queens. He is of African-American, Russian, and Ukrainian descent. He is a cum laude graduate of Adelphi University, where he received his Bachelor’s degree, with a Major in Communications, and a Minor in African-American Studies. Knights is now working on some major projects this year including Season Two of Diabolical where he will be playing “Detective Walter Knight” Stay tuned for more projects! BB: Ah man growing up, I used to love The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. THe fact that she sings and rap. I love Whitney Huston, Brandy and as far as groups, I love Total, SWV. It was so much great music in the 90’s. BS:I want to talk about your single “Gunz N Black Roses. What was the inspiration behind it? That’s been my bread and butter for years. I’ve been able to sing background for a lot of amazing people that I always look up to.
